JAMIE GRAY’s wall sculptures and installations reflect her deep observation and affection of nature. She collects visual memories like treasures—pebbles gathered in a dry wash, a colony of cacti, shadows draping a canyon wall, or a summer monsoon sky. Gray's calming compositions and meditative mark-making in fused beeswax evoke recollections that hover between presence and suggestion. Merging her love of formalism, materiality, and handcrafted processes, she expresses the slowness, wonder, and balance she associates with the natural world.
